Jeanine Michell is a financial systems and operations consultant of Cree descent and a proud member of Peguis First Nation. Her work is grounded in both professional experience and a deep commitment to community.
Jeanine began her career supporting First Nations organizations in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she worked alongside over 30 Nations on employment, training, and early childhood initiatives through First Peoples Development Inc. During this time, she gained hands-on experience identifying operational gaps, assessing risk, and supporting staff through practical training and system improvements.
With over seven years of experience working under a CPA, Jeanine developed a strong foundation in financial systems, reporting, and organizational processes. Her work focuses on bringing clarity, structure, and sustainable solutions to organizations that need stronger systems and improved financial visibility.
Now based in the Fraser Valley, Jeanine continues to support First Nations, non-profits, and businesses with a practical, community-informed approach. Her work is rooted in the belief that strong systems create stronger organizations and more confident decision-making.
Beyond her professional work, Jeanine is deeply committed to giving back. She provides pro-bono support to individuals navigating Residential School claims, offering assistance with elder support at no cost as part of her ongoing commitment to community care and advocacy.
